I agree that Mighty Wind was not as funny as Spinal Tap. But it DID have its moments. That part where the one group was talking about how they had to go to a lower quality label that made them drill their own holes in their record albums was priceless  There was a movie in the late 80's called "Hearts of Fire" about a young woman trying to make it as a singer. Can't remember if she was a writer too. Memorable because her mentor was played by Bob Dylan. Scott
