Moulin Rouge is one of my favorite films - I love all of the color, visuals, and "song references" - especially Roxanne.
I got to sing the secret song "Come What May" in a wedding service recently. They gave me complete freedom to choose any song I wanted, and that one seemed so appropriate.
And thanks to Moulin Rouge, I discovered Absinthe. :-)
I don't see any green fairy though, but you do get a MAJOR buzz. No wonder it was Van Gogh's choice of drink.
