Id like to be proven wrong, but I dont believe its possible to have a good sounding album, at the volume levels required by the knuckledraggers making these decisions right now
I think we crossed and burnt that bridge around 1995, certainly no later than 2000
Of course if its not for pop40, or for kids too challenged to use the actual volume knob on their stereo, then its a different story
