Great info, Tim. The Kjearhus VST's are amazingly good for free ware.
A good free VST compressor for someone who is doing home demos and wants to learn how to use a compressor is the GVST GComp or MultiComp. They're free and they have a wave display that shows what the compression is doing to the signal...great learning tool, not bad compressors either.
