Hey Madferit
I like and play loud music (we lost a guitarist through tinitus) just a thought. There comes a point when any music no matter how good becomes so loud AND PIERCING that it hurts your eardrums and is not a pleasure to listen to. Also there comes a point in recording levels regardless of what gizmos are used when music will be distorted and full of unwanted noise. You can always turn the volume control up on the CD PLAYER if the recording level is not loud enough. Watch out for the neighbours though.
