Well Ben, good point! I don't see the need to have 2,000, 6,000 or whatever friends. Do you really know them all? It's kind of dumb. Unless you do it is kind of like just trying to win a popularity contest. Everyone wants to just accept everyone as a friend. Seems a bit silly.
