I dunno, Calvin... Four, five, sometimes even SEVEN words in a line? :o What has happened to Sir Calvin of the Few Words? Of course, I jest, this is awesome. The Angel Without Wings is such a lovely image, and at the same time, it seems so obvious; is it possible it hasn't been used before? But either way, leave it to you to make this song work. You grab us right from the get-go....take us up in the air with him -- then pull the rug out from under us! I do like Stan's interpretation of giving us a tease for "hope" with that last chorus.... Finally, I'm also impressed by how genuine the tone is. Given the virtually-universal theme, it would have been very easy to slip into corniness and platitudes. So keep at it, Mr. Non-Cookie-Cutter Song-Writer!! Beth

"If you are stuck in your musical composing, be unreasonable. Change your environment. If you are stuck in your lyrical efforts, instead of forcing the same old words out, force yourself to do unreasonable things." -Brian Austin Whitney
