I guess the Reasons I didn't rate it even-Higher were:
1) It starts off Kinda-Slowly
2) Then..It runs like a Bat Outta Hell
3) &..It's more of a Gal-Flick than a Guy-Flick..& (Blush) I'm a Guy.
4) "Breakfast At Tiffany's" would be a "9" or "10" to measure-against This One. "Holly Golightly" wasn't as "Devious" as Amy Adams' Character is in this one...& maybe I got a Tidge of Morality I still prefer to See Onscreen?
5) Miss Pettigrew, herself, kept remindin' me of Mary Poppins, sans The Kids...zoomin' thru a Pygmalion Experience.

That Said, it IS Funny..& Sad in Parts..& pretty ZANY much of the time. I think IF ya like the '30's & London & Jazz, YEP..it's a Dandy. BUT...IF I get "All Enthused" & rate it any Higher..I'd kinda expect to get Pounded. I DO have a LOT of Respect for Amy Adams..A Gorgeous Hottie who can ACT..& ACT..& ACT~~~

She Sings Beautifully & Brilliantly too. ("9 1/2" for her Big Number at the Jazz Club!) Maybe it was the Lack of Brilliant/UN-expected Plot Twists at The End that dulled My Total Enthrallment Here. Good Movie...just not a Great One. JMO.

Big Guy-Hug,
