I did my own. Everything. I ordered waterproof printable CD's from Diskmakers. I printed them on an Epson 320 CD printer. Cost per CD was a little higher but it was cheaper in the initial investment because I only needed about 50 CD's.
So far I have never had a failure on any of the CD's. The Epson 320 CD printer, is that all you can use it for is printing CDs or can you use it for all your printing needs, I use a Epson c68 now for my computer. What does it cost per CD to do your own? I've been thinking about doing what you're doing, less up front cost and less dead stock.
