It's so nice to see how easily you two switch things up for us. smile I enjoyed this one a lot -- it's a very poignant mix of acknowledging "what might have been" with a recognition of "what still could be".

Your vocal, JM, nicely captures the temerity/hopefulness of the singer -- will it work out? And I thought this section of the lyric was exceptional:

Chance and risk
Investing your time and mine, in balancing two as one
Letting go of fear
and taming expectations
what it all comes down to, is I've been lonely for years.....
waiting for something like this
