I've used those Elixir things (medium) last three times on the J-200, and they seem to do okay. Hold tone a long time, yada yada. On the Strat, I have Ernie Ball Slinkies. The punk kid in the Strat Department at Guitar Center recommended 'em. (I know nothing about electric guitars. i just have one.)
