First off, soooo sorry for being so remiss on these challenges. I actually have an idea for one I'm going to post this week. I just want to write a song for it first!!

Anyhoo, this is from two Halloween's ago. Joe Wrabek was kind enough to musicate it for me...and it came out nice and creepy!

The Well in The Glade

The Well in the Glade is patient
Though unknown, to those left behind
Legions of children of children
Of the first who alas made the find

They were hunters out tracking a deer
Hallow's Eve, when one saw the tail
It led them deep into the forest
To a glade at the end of the trail

About The Well
They thought it was for wishing
They tossed in change
Then something strange
Happened
They started slipping
Down, they fell
Bound straight for hell
The water started hissing
Then splash of pail
A gurgled wail
That's how those two went missing`

Last night two boys cut thru the forest
They got lost and a little afraid
Was the night before Halloween
They cheered up when they came to the glade
