Hey Bill,

All I'm saying is that stuff does come out of the blue, and there's more than one way to skin a cat.

You sound a little down, in that what you expect after trying one way, doesn't really work for you.

How about trying another way ?

I never thought I'd do music again. As I was a commercial musican, and the work simply wasn't there, I thought it was all over red rover. ( It sill is, there is no money in music frown grin )

But one thing leads to another, and you're up and running again.

I don't think distance is a big thing anymore. As one who is on the ass end of the world, the only way I can write with others is via the internet. Would this work for you ?

The Nashville model is only one of many. Maybe you're only looking at stuff from that perspective ?

I think what Marc does is great, very uplifting, but it requires a critical mass to keep itself going.

Do you think you could be an internet musican ? There's plenty of them around, and like me, they don't have a critical mass of folks in their same area to work with.

cheers, niteshift

Ps - if you form the "Old Codgers With No Cuts Club", can I be the secretary ? grin
