I got involved with some changes in my life and have not been able to connect with JPF for a while. Missed you all though. This was a song I had been working on. It is a dance song that is a spoof on the nightclub scene and a joke on a friend of mine. I hope people enjoy listening to it and that it might give you a laugh. As always, feedback is appreciated. Doug http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=11417988Lyrics = 1st Verse: When we go out to nightclubs. When the girls come our way. My buddy gets direct hits. I get the ricochets. We're like a chick magnet. We put them in a spell. He does all the attracting. I handle the repel. Chorus: I'm a ricochet man. That is what I am. So go ahead and shoot. We planned it that way. I'm a ricochet man. Take your best shot. I'll wait right here, for the ricochet. 2nd Verse: Girls like his tall, dark, and handsome, more than my short, buffed, and cute. So he always gets the top half. I settle for the boots. He accepts the chubby booty, cause he can isolate. I prefer plain old beauty, so we split them up that way. Chorus: I'm a ricochet man. That is what I am. So go ahead and shoot. We planned it that way. I'm a ricochet man. Take your best shot. I'll wait right here, for the ricochet. Bridge: We're not like Laurel and Hardy, more like “Hall and Oates”. If we were brothers we'd be “Righteous”, when it comes to getting strokes. 3rd Verse: He likes the short, petite girls, though he’s over 6 ft. tall. They watch him over my shoulder, cause I am so small. I am some kind of doctor. I'm good at the books. He's a former model. He's good at getting looks. When we wade into the stream. We make a great team. With our brains and our brauns, that’s how we bait our hooks. Chorus repeats and then surprise ending: I'm a ricochet man. That is what I am. So go ahead and shoot. We planned it that way. I'm a ricochet man. Take your best shot. I'll wait right here for the ricochet. I'm a richochet man. That is what I am. So go ahead and shoot. We planned it that way. I'm a ricochet man. Take your best shot I'll wait right here for the ricochet. I'm a ricochet man. That is what I am No Don Juans were harmed in the recording of this song. Persons talked about in this song are fictional and any similarity of gender, size, body parts, proportion, or proclivity, to any one you know, is unintentional.
