I just downloaded Reaper to try out. Thanks for the suggestion! From what I see it looks like a pretty simple program. I'm not looking for a whole lot of bells and whistles so that's not a bad thing. I'm sure a lot of my issues have less to do with the software and more with my not using it properly. Reaper has all the bells and whistles but it is simple when that's all you need. Download the manual - if you print it, it will take 400 pages!
