The President and a Senator was sent Letters with Deadly Ricin in the envelope. NOBODY IS COVERING THIS AND IT IS MORE SCARY THAN BOSTON. ALSO...We don't need MORE Security...there is NO protection from IED's if they want to start using them HERE..They could go to a small town in Iowa and kill and maim hundreds there and there is nothing we can do. The Senator's Letter made the headlines here in Tampa Bay Area, today's Times... Hadn't heard the Pres got one too. (Maybe the Media's trying to avoid the usual "Copycat Crimes" that often happen after some Idjut makes National Headlines...) Good for them if it's the case..tho I'm a Doubter...
I once read-up on Gunpowder. More'n-Likely, what was used was Made-in-USA... All the powder made in the USA carries microscopic "Markers" (Some of which DON'T-Burn when Ya hear the BOOM...) and the FBI Hoovers-Away at the Crime Scene, identifies the Markers, & then starts tracing The Buyer(s).
Poor choice of Explosives..on the Would-Be Terrorists..this time around.
One of my Sheriff Buddies is the Local Bomb Squad "Point Man"...(HAS a good sense of humor, I'll add)...and...he's pretty Busy-These-Days...already. Been at it for Years/Paper here's never run a single Story on him. (Good for the Media..locally!)
Yeah, already LOTS of Crazies out there... But also lots of well-trained Bomb-Sniffing Pooches too... Prolly shoulda run a few through Boston..but 20-20 Hindsight's not always the answer.
Neither is gettin' all-Paranoid and sayin' "There's Nothing We Can Do."

We heard about the letters yesterday here in UK on national tv news. So it is getting covered worldwide.
Surprised that a suspect package was left and nobody reacted. Perhaps we will ALL be more vigilant in future. My local shopping mall is always being evacuated because someone has INNOCENTLY left shopping unattended. Better safe than sorry.
They are saying that usually international terrorist orgs will claim responsibility.....that is what terrorism is all about....creating fear and alarm and gaining max publicity..so far it has not happened which leads us to believe it is a home grown outfit or loner.
