I really like this Mike,
I feel his emotion in every line except the act line of the chorus. Maybe something about her leaving being something about "her call"?

I think this needs a rethink though especially that stall line which reads more of a rhyme for the sake of a rhyme.Too many alls, perhaps break it up with other couplets.
Of course I could be wrong lol
