I really wanted to have a WahWah for my lead guitar but BIAB doesn't have one,at least i haven't found it there. So just use your imagination when the lead comes around. http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=13407436Swamp Stompin' It's in my blood i can't get it out It's thick as the mud from here down south Talkin' 'bout swamp stompin',talkin' 'bout swamp stompin' I wake up in the mornin' and i hit the swamp I dive right off of a cypress stump The gators and the snakes they don't care There's plenty of room we all can share Talkin' 'bout swamp stompin',talkin' 'bout swamp stompin' Some folks think i'm crazy for what i do But they're all strangers to the mighty bayou If you're born down here it's a natural thing They don't understand the joy it brings Talkin' 'bout swamp stompin',talkin' 'bout swamp stompin' Talkin' 'bout swamp stompin',talkin' 'bout swamp stompin'

Mike,
I like it when you get swampy!
(The slide leads work well with swampy)

Hi Mike:
I believe you "had your Elvis working" on this one. Calvin picked up on the line I planned to mention. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Hey Mike,
I like the late 60's pop feel. I could hear Jerry Reed doing this one!
Nice contrasting guitar tones, but I would give the clean lead runs just a "slight more edginess" or distortion (just a little)--gluing it better to the strong low mid-range tones going on. I like the contrast in general for sure as well as the style--nice work!
steady-eddie.

Nice Mike. Got some of that Tony Joe going here. Cool lyric, vocal and arrangement.
Enjoyed it!
J&B
PS Dunno what DAW you are using but most of them have amp sims and pedals (including wah wah). You can render a BiaB guitar track as "direct input" and apply your own effects...you probably already know this but thought I'd mention it as we are learning how to do it.

Mike, It sure sounds like you had a good time putting together this song. Your tune brings back fond memories of the old '60s dance craze songs like the Bristol Stomp and Surfers Stomp. There must have been dozens of those Stomp songs. Now there's one more. I enjoyed listening to you put the stomp back into the swamp.
