My vocal sucks on this work tape. I can do better. Paul Churchfield's playing the instruments. http://jimcolyer.com/sitebuilder/flash/player?f=/music/flash/playlist.xml%3Ft%3D1489
I feel your presence When I walk these streets I feel your presence When old friends I meet I remember the time We drove down the coast You're haunting me Like A Ghost
I have your memory It lives here in my brain Sometimes when I'm lonely It drives me insane I remember the way You butter your toast You're haunting me Like A Ghost
Like a phantom in the night You slip into my dreams I know it isn't real Things aren't what they seem
I feel your presence Cos I loved you the most You're haunting me Like A Ghost

Hi Jim:
Vocals are the chink in most artists armor... but I'm grateful I don't have to stand in front of a crowd when I sing. You want more for this song, I understand that so well... but it is a great song and to ears attuned to songs with potential... this one stands clearly above most country songs we hear today.
Heck, in the right hands, it could be a "crossover" as Radio DJ's used to parrot all over this country.
Sorry I'm so late in listening... but I'm sure glad I took the time. Best of luck with this one, Pal.
----Dave
