I wish I could edit the header post on this but I still can't so... "Fragments"V1 Pieces of me pieces of you pieces of us and all we went through There in the kitchen and living room floor so many fragments of what came before Pre‑CH I have bitten my tongue when I thought you were wrong Now I’m stuck in that loop like a tired old song CH So I let myself cry as the tears filled my eyes I didn’t wipe them away I just let ’em fall when they pooled at my feet I dropped to my knees started cleaning the floor of what came before V2 I trace every moment the sharp and the sweet the words that we whispered and ones we’d repeat Now they’re scattered like glass on this cold hardwood floor and I’m sweeping through memories I can’t hold anymore CH So I let myself cry as the tears filled my eyes I didn’t wipe them away I just let ’em fall when they pooled at my feet I dropped to my knees started cleaning the floor of what came before Br Endings can sure be messy but maybe breaking's an art and letting all of it go is how we can restart So I let myself cry as the tears filled my eyes I won't hide it this time I just let ’em fall as I rise from the floor leave the past at the door ’cause I’m done cleaning up what was before Peace, Dave
