If you do that, it appears that you can still be trolled and ridiculed, yet blissfully ignorant and blind to it. I asked if that was the case and never got an answer that sounded like...no, it is not the case. If that is ok with you, hit that button.

No. The button is called ‘ Ignore user’. It just messes up the thread. Itself, difficult to ignore.
