Anyone having interesting glitches in Suno or any other AI service?
I was trying out assorted genre for some old instrumentals. Just to see if a different arrangement might spark an idea in my head. I uploaded a 2 minute simple guitar tune and told Suno I wanted to hear it in Jazz and then Blues and then Bluegrass. One of the bluegrass renderings was 1:30 and the other was 7:59.
I listened to the long version and after 3:00 it switched to a slower beat and a different tune. Then it added a girls voice and some really odd lyrics.
Here is a sample:
"Go down on all the rain Running down, you know that I am here Not wanting to be the someone taught me near Go down on all the rain And nights so turn cold And know the road I'd find is gold And in his heart to get old And don't know the cost, but that already's gone And know where to make it with the wrong Go down on all the rain And don't ask the word to do its stay Go down on all the rain"
It goes on for the last four minutes and 59 seconds and then stops abruptly because the time limit for Suno is 8 minutes.
If this was a one time thing I would not mention it. It happened 5 or 6 times in the course of an evening. Sometimes adding random vocalizations. Sometimes actual lyrics. Sometimes it just repeats the short instrumental over and over and changes tempo several times. In one case the rendering never finished. After 20 minutes the system told me there was an error and gave me back 5 credits.
In the past it has added lyrics to instrumentals as I upload, but not very often.
Also, just to play with the software a little, I asked it to create text to picture artwork for the strange song. I asked for "a cowboy riding a chicken being pursued by natives riding cats". It gave me Indiana Jones riding a 2 headed chicken that had 1 horses leg - with a small portrait of a smiling cat in the corner.
This stuff does not surprise me too much. I worked in large scale computers long enough to know that software can be like children - you may think everything is going along fine - until you discover one of them has been putting their uneaten green beans in that hole in the laundry room wall - for a year.

I've never encountered any of the stuff you described.
This new feature in V5.5 where you can get Suno to use your voice for the vocals is so cool. It really sounds like I'm singing.

Im working through tgis now
I have several questions One, is does yiur voice become availble to anybody using suno.
I also dont think 30 second sample of yiur vocals cover everything.
I can sing Sinatra, but then sing, neil young style I can sing like a pop singer or a folk singer, can dunk national anthem style, to doo wop style, ...
None of that is bragadoccio, im only a pretty good singer with a pretty unique cool sounding voice Im not great.
Having said that, if you sometimes use falsetto, or sometimes sing dead pan like Lou reed, or lots of vibrato like beach boys, or gravely like zbruce.
Does ai know this, or is it copying whatever yiu enter, and how do you get it to use all your nuances

Take Billy Joel for example.
His style is way different in songs like big shot or You may be right, compared to uptown girl or the longest time. Or juat the way you are, but then, only the good die young, or say goodbye to Hollywood, and then Vienna or new york state of mind.
God he has tons of hits, that's partly why, they are not all the same

Im thinking in the long run, people will attribute any recording to...ahh he's using computers.
Live performances. . Unplugged will become the differentiator.
But all this tech will be great for demos.
Some pop music, nobody has ever cared how it wa done

Dom, I posted a song in the AI section (Not A Straight Line) which demonstrates what Suno can do with MY voice. You don't use Suno, right?

Does ai know this, or is it copying whatever yiu enter, and how do you get it to use all your nuances To answer your questions... 1. The voices you create are only available for you to use 2. I used 4 minutes, not 30 seconds. If you sing differently you can create as many voices (personas) as you want 3. AI doesn't know that you can sing different styles. For each style you create a "persona". Your personas could be named Sinatra, Neil, Anthem, Folk, Pop, Beachy, Bruce, whatever. When you generate a song you tell Suno which persona should be used for that specific song. You are in control, not Suno.

Vocal nuances and dynamics can change line to line, or word to word. But I think its a really cool thing for everybody to do, not just singers Like a woman freezing her eggs for a later Date, yiou can have yiour voice, essentially immortalized. If somebody develops throat or voice problems later on in, life they have their voice. Weird, but interesting

I don't see the big deal, go in a studio and sing it. Seems some people think studios are haunted by vampires and scared to go near them.
Ha ha ha a glich really ? its a robot. fun toy though

Ha ha ha a glich really ? its a robot. fun toy though Studios were dying way before suno came around. The home tech is so good, get a decent preamp, even buy an sm58 mic, alnd it will sound great. Throw it into a daw to mix, edit, process it, spend hours and days on it To do same thing paying 50, 75, 100 an hour, which is still low end studio time. You would spend over 1000, for what? A demo three people here will hear. Unless somebody asks you to go and make a radio ready album, makes bo sense these days. But I would definitely go to studio, if I had a commercial reason to

Some people are lucky, one guy had an accident while working construction, the amount he sued for, he was able to buy the building it was in, . First and last time I ever went there, but you really dont know what tour getting in a studio, unless you know them already. God that guy was bad lol.

Ive literally paid people who know nothing about music to record me But there's great studios here too

Not hey, let's use reverb, isn't that cool how it sounds like grand canyon... When they own the studio you cant kick them iut from behind their own mixer. I means its only happened few times. I dont mind if engineer is a good artist, or musician or any of that, just know how to use the damn studio
