For me, I never understood how Billy Joel doesnt make the top ten of most best songwriters list.
Hit after hit. And not go for the money type of hits, enduring , tasteful, multi generational hits, and a pretty damn good lyricist too.
To gave bad bunny ranked ahead...only one word for it..

Moronic Bill Joel is top 5 all time in America I think as singer songwriters go. I can't take anyone seriously who would suggest otherwise.

He's old and always bitching about new music . I quit listening to him . Move on, the Beatles are dead .He is a master on theory though.
All these old rock bands are old news , it's 2027 . The music is just as good now, as it was back when before robots took over. New ERA. blah blah blah blah .
