Granted, I have only been on it for like 3 days, but it was quick and easy and everyone I sent the link to had an easy time checking out my music. I used IUMA when I had my band but they took like 2 weeks to post my first song and some people have complained that they had problems listening to our stuff there. Soundclick posted my first song within a few minutes. I dig it. ------------------ http://www.geocities.com/veryvince/

Yup - I like it too. It's easy to use, and an easy way for others to quickly check out your chops. ------------------ Tom Tracy www.soundclick.com/tomtracy

Yep. I have three Soundclick sites and it is a dead easy place to be. I also like SongRamp a lot, but for streamability Soundclick is the place. Graham ------------------ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/2/grahamhendersonmusic.htm

I use www.musicv2.com for my uploads. There are currently no limits to the amount of songs you can uplaod and you can add pictures, bios and what not. I think it took me a total of 15 minutes to do my lay out and upload 4 songs. And it is free. ------------------ http://musicv2.com/artist/lofiprophets [This message has been edited by Cj Matt (edited 12-12-2003).] [This message has been edited by Cj Matt (edited 12-16-2003).]

Hi, I love Soundclick. I think they are improving on their downtime and after Bob Young and Graham. and AOL ..got me straightened out on ..uploading, I can now upload without a dis-connect. An Aside, If anyone out there is an AOL user, and AOL tells them that uploading on a dial-up system...is a Soundclick problem rather than an AOL, ask to speak to a supervisor. AOL can take you in and enter some type of code.....and it keeps you connected. It took..at least 6 or 7 different customer service reps....but finally got one to admit...AOL had a dis-connect problem on uploading via..a dial-up system. I also like Soundclick for its ease in streaming songs. I think more folks...are willing to listen ...because they don't have to wait very long and they can listen without answering a lot of questions each time they try. best wishes, kaley ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif)

Yes folks. Soundeclick is back uploading again, and as they stated it would be, it is a lot faster than before. Now to fix the stuff ups on my pages from the time they weren't working. Graham ------------------ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/2/grahamhendersonmusic.htm

We've had uploading problems with Soundclick, also. Our solution is to upload to our home website first, then do a site-to-site "slurp" between our home site and our Soundclick site. This is one of the two Soundclick song upload options. This has worked everytime so far. ------------------ Stone Marmot www.stonemarmot.com Stone Marmot on Soundclick Alternative pop-rock music: Definitely rock, somewhat pop, but a bit more experimental.

Re the slurp Sammy. Currently am trying to get them to make it so we can slurp from one of upur soundclick sites to another. Seems so strange we can do it from other sites, but not from within Soundclick. Graham ------------------ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/2/grahamhendersonmusic.htm

I use soundclick and have had no problems uploading to it. The folks there are very nice. I've had little problems although there servers aren't as stable as they could be but you can upload as many songs as you want for free. Kenny http://www.soundclick.com/pro/?BandID=189269

Soundclick is good, but I keep having problems uploading...after the upload is "successfull" then system gets "timed" out...and then I have to start all over again... -stephen- www.soundclick.com/bands/7/stephenaroutmusic.htm Stephen,.(I don't know if you have this problem resolved or not)..I saw that your address was aol...If you are still having uploading problems..., there are a few options for you....(uh..I am still aol too....)...If you don't want to try someone else other than aol, when you are uploading... click on internet explorer.... and go into soundclick by that route. While uploading...don't be doing other things....(if you're a dial up..aol)..., or you can try to get to the bottom of it with Aol...by being persistent. I've spent hours on the phone with them..regarding the uploading problems....and finally ended up having to go back to 7.0 version...because the combination of AOL 9.0, uploading, windows M.E. , slow dial up...Just Don't mix. I was able to upload..several songs this past week by clicking on Internet Explorer.... I know the agony of getting to 95% uploaded, 10% uploaded....80% uploaded..and have that dreaded White... Error screen come up.., so I can sympathize with you and anyone else who struggles with uploading...Do try using internet explorer...if you're still having problems. There are numerous articles regarding this problem on the web, yet it is very difficult to get AOL...to admit the problem unless you persist and end up talking with a rep. who has a strong tech background and is aware of the problem. good luck with this......
