www.myspace.com/dianejessurun or http://jessurun.dmusic.com It's the 1st song listed on both sites. I would love some honest feedback on this one. It's an Online Collaboration. Music by Josyph Cryss and Vocals and Lyrics by myself, Diane Jessurun. It's a Downtempo/Chill Orchestration... "Take Me" Don't know just how Something in your mind has moved me I feel it now All along your side I'm moving Breathing in my skin One more fairy tale is turning Take Me... I'm with you now Silently you call unto me Lie beneath you now All along my side you're burning Feel you on my skin One more fairy tale is turning Take me... I'm in you.... breathe in you... take me with you... I'm in you... Thanks so much! Diane, You are probably sick of people telling you that you have signigicant talent. But wow do you! The timbre of your voice gives me chills.
On the song, beautifully recorded and mixed but there is a sound in there that comes across as static on my cheap little near field speakers. Is it suposed to be wind or something?
The only nit that I might have is I wish the song would have more of a built and release. But that is probably just me, as I often go overboard in that department. Tom

The timbre of your voice gives me chills. ~~~ Actually no, that's always nice to hear and thank you, very much. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) ~~~ On the song, beautifully recorded and mixed but there is a sound in there that comes across as static on my cheap little near field speakers. Is it suposed to be wind or something? ~~~ Yes, this was an online collaboration. The song was already written and mixed and I just added my vocals to it, so it's probably not blended as best as it could be. The sound you hear was purposefully added although it doesn't sound bad in my speakers. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/wink.gif) ~~~ Thank you so much Tom! ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) ------------------ http://jessurun.dmusic.com/ [This message has been edited by Diane Jessurun (edited 07-13-2005).]

Diane, Very cool collaboration! I like the backing track, very new age/ambiant. Interesting lyrics, perfect for a smooth chill out. Did you also compose the melody that you are singing? Overall, great project! Too bad it wasn't a bit longer. Keep that creativity flowing! ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) Michael

The music just hit me in that special "place" you know? And I wrote this in about an hour. Thanks again... the feedback is so much appreciated! ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) ------------------ http://jessurun.dmusic.com/

Diane, Thanks for your feedback on my comments. You are a strong vocalist, lyricist and melody composer. It's great that you can team up with artists that have some great grooves and arrangements for you to work with. If you don't mind, I'll pass some your way when I come across them, especially if I know they are open to adding vocals and melody, etc. Keep up the great work! ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) Michael B. ------------------ The OUTLOOK may often appear bleak, but the UPLOOK is always bright!

Diane, your vocals are dynamite! I love those photos on your mysite. Pretty and talented, too! Diane, By the way, that remix with Dizeazed is cool! His hip-hop rap was done very tastefully and also served to stretch the song a bit, which worked out perfect considering the original short length of this track. Great vocals dynamics between your singing and his rap art. This is a good fusion of smooth jazz, rap & electronic groove! Thought I'd mention that! ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) Please let me know if you received the Clay333_ABC.mp3 file I sent you. Thanks & Regards, M.B.
