O.K. Guys, "SEX AND THE CITY" is a GREAT "Chick Flick" to See! WHY? Waal, I took La Femme to see it Saturday Night, and you never SAW so many Well-Dressed BABES all meanderin'-around a Movie Theater at one-time!
The Ratio was about 10 of Us Guys to 340 GALS..& I'd had No Idea there were THIS Many Good-Lookin' Women in our Entire Town!
Oh..and The MOVIE itself is ANYTHING But-Boring: there ARE Some Delightful (& FUNNY) Sex Scenes in this Flick, so I Guarantee Neither Gender'll get bored!
DO bring a LadyChum along..because this one's, of course, about those 4 Gals we've come to admire On-TV, Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) and Kirsten Davis (Charlotte York). Can't Forget "Mr. Big", Chris Noth, who delighted confusing reporters & bystanders during the Shooting in NYC with quips like "Yeah, it's too bad Carrie died.." while multipe Fake Endings were filmed to keep the Movie's Plot a good Secret.
Think I'll continue the game..& reveal next-to-nothing Plot-Wise, so you'll (probably) enjoy all 2 1/2 hours of it, but prepare for Appartment Hunting, Surprises-Galore, Fashions-Aplenty (Carrie's 1-of-a-Kind Vivienne Westwood Weddin' Scene Dress cost around $18K!) and it's JMO, a truly enjoyable movie about Love, Things Going Dreadfully-Wrong..& Forgiveness.
The Premiere was held in London..(Unsure of the Politics of this..tho Chris Noth's thinking of moving his Manhattan Nite Club to Vegas..in Real-Life)...
Watch for Photog Annie Liebowitz's "Fantasy NYC Honeymoon" Shoot of Carrie & "Big" to come out this week in Vanity Fair...possibly eclipsing the brouhaha of her recent Miley Cyrus "Topless"-y shots.
I'll give this Fun Movie an "8-Outta-10" for View-worthiness.. It's NOT a "Male-Basher", & the Gals On (& OFF)-Screen were ALL Lookin' GOOD! Michael Patrick King Wrote-&-Directed, with "Characters from the book" by Candace Bushnell, lest I forget Where Credit Is Due! "SEX AND THE CITY" just did $55.7 Million its Opening Weekend.."Highest-Grossing R-Rated Film EVER"..also tops for A Romantic Comedy & TV-Adaptation Flick, TOO!
I think Gals know a Good Flick when they see one, too! ;-)>

G'Mornin' Mz Vickie, & AMEN!
I'll confess to perhaps Blushin' durin' a few of those Steamier Sex Scenes..(& they musta paid those S&TC Stars a BUNDLE to get Them to Disrobe for 'em!)..but this Flick was an Overall HOOT!!! (Confess to bein'-surprised Samantha DIDN'T take up her Neighbor's "Offer" when it came in...DOUBT a Guy COULD pass that one up, if Roles Were Reversed...but that was a VERY Redeeming Moment, Character-Wise..&..there were SO Many Others in there, too!)
I've enjoyed watchin' The Gals in the many Re-Runs on TV...(I've seen more of 'em than La Femme has...somehow..tho neither of us is a Big TV Watcher.) SJP hails from My Neck of the Woods in Ohio...so I've enjoyed watchin' her Career..from afar!
