Does anyone have sheet music for Siuil A Ruin written by Robert Burns in the late 1700's and also the Scottish version of Green Grow The Rushes O. If not, does anyone know where in the USA I can get sheet music for these songs at? Thanks. It's driving me  .

Try a local music store that sells sheet music. If it is avaliable they can find it for you.

The version below of "Green Grow the Rushes 0" is the sheet music I'm looking for. I've Googled "Siuil A Run" and found a site located in Ireland. But, when I tried to order, my debit card was reject twice causing me to get a security alert. I sent an email to this website and the salesperson informed me that they've been having problems with VISA cards. So that is why I turned to all of you.

Slightly off-topic... but... if I'm not mistaken... the modern term "Gringo" is based on "Green Grow the Rushes Oh." It came about when U.S. Troops would sing the song as they marched in the Mexican War. (Prior to the Civil War)
You probably already knew this but many may not.

I didn't know this about the song. This song reads like a man instead of a woman should be singing this particular version. But, indeed a woman on the CD called Celtic Wonder is singing this song. There are a lot of versions to this song including the Robert Burns version. I'll have to check into this song more. Maybe now I can find the sheet music for "Gringo" and maybe change some of the words to be suitable for a female vocalist. Thanks for the information.
Wow, I also have to say, I kept looking for "Siuil A Ruin" and finally found the sheet music on Sheetmusicplus.com and ordered the sheet music book along with a single sheet music score. There are several other songs as well that I like.

A version of Siuil A Ruin was adapted by Peter Paul and Mary into the song "Gone the Rainbow."

I've also heard the Bobbie Burns one called Green Grow The Rashes O'. Burns was Scottish, yet this song seems to be speaking of Ireland.
I know another version of Green Grow The Rushes Oh with words more like:
I'll sing you one O'...Green Grow The Rushes Oh
What is your one O' ....One is one and all alone and never more shall be so...Then I'll sing you 2 O' Green Grow The Rushes O', What is your 2 O', Two Two Lillie White Boys looking at the Wild World O'...One is one and all alone and never more shall be so. Then 3, 4, ete. I'm running out the door, and don't have time to right the rest, but that's the words. There are both versions sun on You Tube when you put in Green Grow The Rushes.
