Hi everybody, just discovered this website from reading a book about songwriting. We are an African vocal group. We write alot of our stuff and have original arrangements on all our songs. We love harmony and african drums and percussions. We have recently added a guitar player. Looking forward to meeting you all and getting good ideas on songwriting. IJenNeh

Welcome to JPF. We have a category for African music in our music awards, so if you haven't entered anything, check the home page for details. It's grown to be a very large category this year and we may break it up to African Contemporary and African Traditional. Most of the entrants are actually from Africa, but we also include music in that style from anywhere.

We also belong to the Cakewalk forum, since we record using Sonar software but thats more technical where here you can gather more business side of music. Thanks to all.
