We'll See Together c-2010
Female Singer, Slow Tempo
Give me a reason to be here Give me a reason to want you near Memories I keep Painfully run deep Hearing lies I've heard before Tell me what you're waiting for Dreaming of a holiday From the love hate game you play Look into your eyes And I realize We've been down this road before Tell me what you're waiting for (chorus) I guess we'll see together How much I can take I guess we'll see together When my heart will break
Why should I care how you feel? You use love like a gambling wheel Even if I win Soon I'm broke again Then you leave just like before Tell me what you're waiting for (chorus)

Hi Roderic,
I always lik this format of song AABA, used a lot in musicals more than anywhere, but it is a great format.
A few thoughts about it are running in my head so I will think on them and get back. Do you have this to music already?
Cheers
Alan

Forgot to mention perhaps the title should be what are you waiting for, or what are we waiting for?

Alan, Thanks for taking a look. I have a melody in my head but I can't write music. What did you have in mind? Co-write?

Well not so much a melody man, they all start sounding the same to me, my melodies that is!, and I think I misjudged the song in that there is a chorus and could be repeated, although I do like the AABA songs that musicals tend to do a lot, or easy listening people. But let me look over it. I may make some suggs etc that you can take or leave, just think that if there is a melody giving suggs that shorten the lines ect might mess up a good melody so was wondering from that point of view. Cheers Alan PS Did you check out Next to Normal?!?! Sorry but I seriously think it is one of the best musicals ever written....one of them mind you

Alan, Thanks man. Still looking for Next To Normal, I live in a very small town, takes longer for anything. Any suggestions for the song would be greatly appreciated. Rod

I think less is more in this instant. Keep it simple, sort of Losing my mind simple. I get the feeling she is staying on even though it is all broken...would I be right?
Example: Give me a reason... Give me a reason to be here Memories Bring back to me and so on.....
Just a thought.
Cheers
Alan
