"I was already on fire" sets this song apart from others that follow a more classic Eros/Psyche trajectory, whereas Eros seems to (symbolically) supply the fire as well ("then you came along/swept me off my feet," yadacetera, lol)..

Your girl here owns an erotic imagination--has that fire..owns her fire..and I like the earnest yet empowering way you put this across, both in your vocal performance and in the song overall.

There's a ton of erotic imagery in the verses. I personally feel plenty of fire/gasoline and would think anything more might feel over-the-top, so kudos to your crafty-ness which allows me to use my own imagination to feel the full onslaught of what that fire and gasoline I know will bring. smile
