Folks say I look like the Devil You won't see me up there in heaven I'm not much different then the lonesome dove We both dance on corners in mob mentality crowds But they like the coo and not the caw That mocking bird also has its flaws Ch I sit up here in this Crepe Myrtle tree Down there they wonder about me I'm dressed like Johnny Cash With the curse of a black cat Same role, mysterious acting parts From Hitchcock to Tarantino movies I'm just a sad ole crow Hanging around v2 I have to somehow accept myself Southern roots and coal- feathers On the wind with friends ,you'll curse our name If we're a murder, then we've been framed I'll keep flying from north to south When I'm kicked out of ghostly towns ch Br I was in the Garden of Eden Navajos call me evil I stand in shadows of just enough Magic in the moonlight Children point fingers from their windows Ch I sit up here in this Crepe Myrtle tree Down there they wonder about me I'm dressed like Johnny cash With the curse of a black cat Same role, mysterious acting parts From Hitchcock to Tarantino movies I'm just a sad ole crow Are ya'll scared of me ?
