If Ai does everything, song, performance, production, your listening to an illusion, this is "Johnny Thunderpants"
But he plays live and sucks, there goes the illusion, write him off as an Ai fraud. That debate is showing up a lot of places. And it is interesting to watch. Being capable of performing live as a human for other humans appears to be the human musicians last stronghold. AI is writing , not just songs, but everything. Some universities are returning to face-to-face oral exams because stoner students are clicking a couple prompts and turning in term papers. As for songwriting, there has always been a prevalent belief in the musical world that a true songwriter has to be "musical." "Musical" includes being able to play an instrument and/or sing with reasonable skill levels.

"Defeatist Pessimists and Rose Colored Glasses Optimists are lonely companions, victims even. Both ideologies imply predestined outcomes, and therefore breed inactivity in its victims. Inaction is the only sure way to lose at anything in life. All positive action guarantees at least a fighting chance." -Brian Austin Whitney
