you say you want honest and interested feedback. That's exactly what I thought I was giving you. But when the response to criticism is “stop the bullshit,” “you know that's true,” or questioning someone's sincerity, it makes people less inclined to engage.

I'm simply saying that if you want people to give you honest feedback, you also have to be willing to accept feedback you don't agree with.
