This is the time Artists go into the studio to record new Christmas music for the upcoming season. There are no requests for Christmas songs that I know of.
With all the great songs from the past it is practically impossible to write anything new. There are two currently on TAXI, but they are music libraries. BTW, we no longer write songs, we re-write them. What you say about Xmas songs applies to all songs. Fresh, new hooks are tough to come up with.
