With all the great songs from the past it is practically impossible to write anything new.
Not impossible Ray, I wrote a full CD of Christmas songs which I had recorded a couple of years ago. It is almost impossible to get any airplay because of all the classics. You can view and hear clip of my Christmas songs at www.cdbaby.com/cd/sceviour I'm not saying they will ever be classics, especially if they get little airplay. How much airplay are they currently getting? That is an accomplishment in and of itself for indie artists.
