Hello DanO,
Nice to meet you. I truly love this. The instrumentation is easy going and weaves in beautifully. It reminds me of the style of music I used to play with my family, especially an uncle with the slide style you use.
You said you want suggestions, so I thought I would tell you this one (or two) thoughts. I think it is great, and could be a soundtrack song, but for me, one thing could make it even better. I think it would be even better if you work some more on the mix and blending. Your vocal sounds very nice and I feel like you might should bring it up if you have it on a seperate track. Maybe the slide and fingerpicking down a tad if you can, but not if you can bring the vocal up just a little instead.
I am no pro, lol, so these are just my thoughts.
Very nice song,
Letha

"We are all millionaires, billionaires even, because right now we have today. And today is worth more than all the wealth we can imagine. So spend today wisely. Spend tomorrow wisely. Enjoy the wealth of today, and realize it is worth far more than all the money and possessions of tomorrow and beyond." -Brian Austin Whitney
