But she was from Holland, so I guess I should be thankful that it wasn't mayonnaise:-) Yeah, we sure have some strange eating habits over here  Reminds me of a poster in my Economy teacher's class room. It said (in Dutch) "Those darned foreigners with all their weird eating habits!" and then showed a picture of two Dutchies eating herring, not unlike this one: http://www.thefryingdutchman.co.nz/images%20reworked/haring%20happen.jpg
