I assume when you say the end pieces of the bread you are referring to the heels. My wife will not eat them either. Makes me no difference.

Another difference between my wife and me is that almost every sandwich on which I put mustard, she puts mayonaise, ie: I put mustard on bologna and fried ham sandwiches, she puts mayonaise on them.

And although I like dill pickles just fine, I slightly prefer sweet pickles or bread-n-butter pickles on my burgers.
