Very interesting – thanks Mark – They do all look very weary in that photo. It’s a shame they just didn’t take a year off or something. The pedant in me spotted one anomaly in the article, the group George was referring to in his intro to I Me Mine was Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Titch, who had a string of UK hits in the 60s. Perhaps the writer wanted to imply that George was most definitely Beaky and not Dozy
