Nice, inspirational theme. Is the music anything like what you envisioned it to be? I read the lyric first, and wasn't really anticipating the quasi-showtune vibe. It works, but it wouldn't have been my first inclination. Your chorus might be stronger if you ended it with "We leave a legacy" instead of starting it with that line. It is so much stronger than "By just being ourselves", that I think the song would be enhanced by having it in a more powerful position.
