From the first time I heard as a child to this day
When a man loves a Woman: Percy Sledge
The rest are just filler for the rotation til it comes around again.

Hi Again, BluesBro!!!
Had a bitta Insomnia tonight, so here are TEN GREAT LOVE SONGS (That Say "YOU'RE OLD")...& some of the Stories Behind 'Em...
1) "TO KNOW HIM IS TO LOVE HIM"/The Teddy Bears, '58. Inspired by the inscription on his dad's tombstone, Phil Spector penned/produced this hit.
2) "IT'S JUST A MATTER OF TIME"/Brook Benton, '59, Co-written with Clyde Otis..for Nat King Cole, then Otis became an A&R Rep, & asked Cole to let Benton cut it for his Freshman R&B/Pop Release...HIT-City!!! Later recorded for Country Stars Sonny James ('70) and Randy Travis ('89) who scored #1's on the Charts.
(Benton'd reportedly been lamenting the Writing Duo's lack of cuts...and Otis replied.."It's just a matter of time"....& a little light went ON...heh-heh!)
3) "I ONLY HAVE EYES FOR YOU"/LOTS of Artists, since it was penned in 1934 for the movie "DAMES" by Henry Warren/Al Dublin. The Flamingos in '59 and Art Garfunkle, in '75 Made Hits from it too!
(Finally I'm too-tired to type...back later-on Sunday!)
