Just got a new PA. MY last one was 10 years old. More than paid for itself. The new one is a Mackie DL1608. Works with an Ipad. So far its great. I have only touched the surface of the options on it. Lots of control.

Hey Colin, it is not powered. I got powered speakers with it that are 1000 watts peak. I've been partial to JBL speakers for a long time. The new ones are half the weight of the old speakers and 200 watts more powerful.
The ageing process kind of forced the issue to lighter equipment.
