One of the most important principles of songwriting is to remember that a good song is a partnership of many different components, all working together to produce a satisfying musical experience.
In that respect, song components are either enhancing or compromising their combined effects.

Almost impossible to choose which song you like best. Like saying which of your children is your favourite. https://soundclick.com/r/s1b1bs is one in this genre, I have songs in several genres, are we allowed to post in different genres.

Thanks to those who have added to the topic.
Everett, over 100 others have added their single track to the topic, so I think it would be good to stay with that format.
You could of course change your listed track as often as you wished for another, at different times maybe.
God Bless to all

Roy and Helen OK, I'll not add any more. I was going to add a song about princess Diana seeing I didn't have one about the Queen but maybe it is for the best.

Creators of music have a responsibility to their craft. When they have finished using all the notes and words, they must pass them down to the next generation with a simple request. “Use these to create new music.”...Steven McDonald

I'm the youngest in my immediate family tree (not including half brothers ) and over the last 20 years, all three of my older sisters have passed away. I wrote this song dedicated to all three https://soundcloud.com/patricklockwood/sisterVocalist: Jessie Lark Sister My sister, you have gone, Rest in peace, now. The storm which you endured, Is no more The love you always gave, As you lived, while being brave, is not lost, so, sister, know you are loved. What does it mean to live and die? What does it mean to laugh and cry? And are there really answers? And are there reasons why? What does it mean to run and fly? What does it mean to touch the sky? And now you have your answer so now we say goodbye, rest in peace We'll always hold you near, dearest sister You're loving soul is felt by us all now you transcend to be in that place where you are free Goodbye, kindred heart, rest in peace. What does it mean to live and die? What does it mean to laugh and cry? And are there really answers? And are there reasons why? What does it mean to run and fly? What does it mean to touch the sky? And now you have your answer With God , Sister, you live, so goodbye, rest in peace

"We are all millionaires, billionaires even, because right now we have today. And today is worth more than all the wealth we can imagine. So spend today wisely. Spend tomorrow wisely. Enjoy the wealth of today, and realize it is worth far more than all the money and possessions of tomorrow and beyond." -Brian Austin Whitney
