Yes, I posted this in the correct forum... https://soundclick.com/song/15225285A blood moon shines bright High time for a slaughter Don't believe your eyes Devil's walkin' on the water Hey, hey, Devil's walkin' on the water... Honey, honey... it's better to pretend Money, money... sold yourself again Funny, funny... laughing till the end Can't turn back once the reaper comes a callin'... Another day, the way, and treachery of men Your heart knows what your soul has to say about sin A blood moon shines bright High time for a slaughter Don't believe your eyes Devil's walkin' on the water Hey, hey, Devil's walkin' on the water... Time lulls and and senses dull Hand to mouth as life's bell tolls We prodigies of apologies The gales of winter chill wherever they blow... Another day, the way, and treachery of men Your heart knows what your soul has to say about sin A blood moon shines bright High time for a slaughter Don't believe your eyes Devil's walkin' on the water Hey, hey, Devil's walkin' on the water...

Well you believe in fairy tales . So of course AI is the devil I would just call it Devils walking on water If you can read, you really should educate yourself... https://americanliterature.com/author/hans-christian-andersenI've been reading HCAnderson since the 5th grade. ("His first fairy tales appeared in 1835—The Tinder-Box, Thumbelina, The Princess and the Pea, and Little Claus and Big Claus. Over the next four decades he wrote approximately 156 fairy tales that have been translated into more than 125 languages, making him one of the most translated authors in history.")Your Welcome

Now we've established its about AI by your own admission Every line should talk about AI . I'm wires in a fiery haze Since you like religion so much , That line works I'm not going to write the song for you . But you get the general idea on leading to your hook Ai is a devil walking on water . Thats the pay off

Parts of that lyric I really like, Rob. But, I can't help thinking it should really be about the centuries of rebellion against antiquated notions of morality... and how evil seems to be winning in this age. To me, the old stories are all cautionary tales; Echos of a past Spirit of wisdom that have mostly been disregarded.
Tell me, why does mankind need to race to the moon... and beyond? Don't we cause enough trouble right here? Don't we have much more to learn before we pollute the cosmos? Aren't there many on Earth who could truly benefit from such wasted expenditures?
Just thinking out loud...

Aren't there many on Earth who could truly benefit from such wasted expenditures? Rob, Still pissing down your leg about Trump, to a small group of songwriters, most of which are not capable of forming a coherent rebuttal? When I saw it, I thought…why not? If a German citizen is going to post political treatises on a song-site, then I will too offer a different POV.. Trump is engaged in a gambit. Here is what someone with his cause-and-effect mentality likely sees. A group of mystic theocrats running a country who equate God’s will with the physical destruction of their enemies is obviously headed towards producing a nuclear bomb. Combined with the missiles that they have amassed…and once they get that bomb, they can destroy a tiny nation of ten million and a lot more. Feckless and misguided “Neville Chamberlains” ignored and enabled them for decades allowing this nuclear ambition to keep rolling. Sooner or later, these mystics will get their bomb and a reckoning will ultimately occur. WW1 was spawned in Eastern Europe. A European war. The US had to cross the ocean and tip the balance to stop an evil empire from engulfing Europe. WW2 was spawned in Europe. After a period of assuaging the T3R, the US had to cross an ocean and tip the balance to avoid an evil empire from engulfing Europe. SIDENOTE: The Germans lost the war at Stalingrad. What Trump likely sees… He has a two year window to degrade and possibly demolish the Iranian theocracy before the mid-terms. He jumped on it. If he wins a good outcome, the entire region is spared a future imperiled by freaks who think that God wants people like me and you dead. If nothing is done, after 50 years of "chump diplomacy"…it will bleed on, and the reckoning may come involving nuclear explosions. What I see is a duality: If Trump gets a good result quickly, it’s a win. Venezuela was a win. If it drags out and American soldiers start dying in numbers, it’s a loss for him. Conclusion People such as me are very tired of crossing the ocean and fighting and cleaning up foreigner’s wars. We are tired of the expense, the body bag’s and the annoyance. Trump is trying to get ahead of a nuclear Theocracy who may think that they will be rewarded in heaven for a nuclear holy war. And then there is China and Russia. What is worse is that these foreigners (Europeans et al) think that it is our obligation to pay for their wars and squeal like pigs being pulled away from a trough, when Trump demands they start paying. And then there are foreign citizens like you Rob, who can’t connect any of the dots that really matter because they are blinded to optimal realities and outcomes by personal biases and TDS. It remains to be seen how fast Trump gets this done. The promptness will determine if it is a win or a loss for Trump. And BTW, I wasnt going to offer any more opinions here, but it is the only place that I can ever do it frankly. You and the residual, remaining disfunks have destroyed this site for anything but arguing over Trump and other non-related matters…so, I see no reason not to join in when the mood hits me? I am now living in a area where there are lots of live outlets for my songwriting. The nice thing about live songwriter circles is that I can up on pick physical and presentational cues to determine if someone is a nut-wad to be avoided. xoxo Marty SIDENOTE: This is the 2nd time that I have left this site and the 2nd time that the site has gone dead immediately afterwards. I wonder if there is a connection. Last time Brian contacted me to return.

You and the residual, remaining disfunks have destroyed this site for anything but arguing over Trump and other non-related matters…so, I see no reason not to join in when the mood hits me? Rob posted a valid response to "ME" in context, Mr Lied. Nobody here has mentioned the name Trump in months, A$$HOLE!I wonder if this is what the thousands of 'Viewers' see, when they come to this site, this thread as an example, and why they don't post. Look at the number of people 'Viewing' on the various threads; 100's, sometimes 1,000's. I've had private messages asking, 'What the hell's wrong with...' and naming the poison penmen who seem to develop verbal argument, insult, and name-calling, consistently, every thread they get involved in, their own, other peoples'. I find in all internet interactions it is best to ignore trolls. Let their one-liner post stand there, all by itself, without response. Others go down a 999 back and forth comment stream led by the troll, occupying their time with a troll who, by about ten comments in, shows they're not interested in the subject under discussion, just the argumentive exchange. And nobody else reads all that back and forth, to hear your brilliant retort at #197. Nobody but you and the troll. I read the horrible name-calling on a thread the other day and thought, "Well isn't he a dirty pri---" and I stopped in the middle of a single syllable word with the insight, "Hurt people, hurt people." That fella's so 'hurt' he thinks its okay to hurt other people, total strangers, out there in cyberspace. I remember my first troll insult. I felt bad about myself for days. Then it dawned on me, 'What do I care about what that stranger, out there in the world, thinks of me?' What people think of me is none of my business. There's so little discussion of Song-Writing there's no need for comment, no opportunity for comment. When there is discussion of Song-Writing it seems to degenerate in the argumentive mode and leave Song-Writing behind, consistently. People are so miserable they bend the arc of attitude in their comments into their own misery, unable to escape the circular thinking, the button-pushing of their own psychology, the repeat 'loop' of thought processes, they can't manage to escape on their own. Either they never cared much about Song-Writing in the first place, or they are simply mired in their own life circumstances they apply that psychological mindset to everything else, inevitably engaging in conflict. Conflict at home. Conflict at the grocery store. Conflict in traffic. Conflict is a great device in fiction, the Love-Triangle, the Other-Man/Other-Woman Character, making for an interesting story. It works in the fiction of Song-Writing too, the Singer-Character, the Love-Interest Character, the 'Other' Characters. Song-Writers, Label personnel, Publishers, the industry as a whole, stand on the claim that it's all been said before, that you can't write a 'new' angle on a Love Song, a Ballad. Or a 'conflict' storyline. Even the cryin'-in-my-beer Songs feel played out. They sucked anyway. Repeats of woe is me, booze, and a story that goes nowhere. Once you close the door, 'knowing' no one's coming, no one comes. Yes, Gary... You guessed it... I DISAGREE!
If I can't post anything here without being trolled, and the moderators are too stupid to notice...
THEN I WILL GIVE THE FUK'N TROLLS WHAT THEY WANT!!!
It's laughable that you keep referencing the visitor numbers to this site... You know damn well those numbers are BULL$HIT!
The wrong people keep getting blamed for the "TRUTH" disappearing on this site, and you just want to lecture the last few remaining members about their attitude... Sniff... sniff, sniff... WTF? That burning rainbow flag, anal lube, pigshit, and hairy MartyDom Manpussy smell from "MuseSongwriters" just won't fuk'n go away!!!!!!!!!

Rob,
Still pissing down your leg about Trump, to a small group of songwriters, most of which are not capable of forming a coherent rebuttal?
The nice thing about live songwriter circles is that I can up on pick physical and presentational cues to determine if someone is a nut-wad to be avoided.
xoxo Marty
SIDENOTE: This is the 2nd time that I have left this site and the 2nd time that the site has gone dead immediately afterwards. I wonder if there is a connection. Last time Brian contacted me to return. Marty, I see where you stand, but you’re leaving out some critical facts. There was an Iran nuclear deal in place—negotiated by the U.S. along with EU countries and others—which allowed monitoring of Iran’s nuclear program. Trump tore that up and promised a better deal. That deal never happened, and tensions have only increased since then. What doesn’t add up is the constant shift in messaging. One moment we’re told Iran’s capabilities are crippled, the next they’re an immediate, major threat again. Which is it? And the idea that this situation will resolve quickly just isn’t realistic. Conflicts like this don’t just end—they escalate, draw in more players, and become more expensive by the day. At the same time, we’re told to trust that everything is under control while costs keep rising and priorities at home take a back seat. That’s hard to ignore. Gas prices will continue to rise because so many pumps in the Middle East were shut down. It takes months to get them up and running again. I just wish Trump would stick to America first, no wars and release the Epstein Files.

It remains to be seen how fast Trump gets this done. The promptness will determine if it is a win or a loss for Trump. Marty, I actually agree with your basic premise - but by your own definition, this is already a loss. It’s been over a month, and there’s no quick result. The Strait is still effectively restricted, global oil markets are disrupted, and there’s no clear endgame. Bombing Iran into the Stone Age is not the solution. So the “promptness” part? That’s already gone. Instead of a fast win, this is turning into exactly the kind of prolonged conflict you described. Ceasefire talks are stalled, tensions are escalating, and even basic objectives - like reopening the Strait - haven’t been achieved. And now we’re seeing things like U.S. aircraft being shot down and casualties mounting. Just imagine, if Iran captures a US pilot or soldier in the process. That’s not a sign of something wrapping up quickly - that’s a sign of things getting more complicated. The longer this drags on, the more expensive and risky it becomes, with no guarantee of a clean outcome. That’s not a win, that’s mission creep. So if speed determines success, then the outcome is already pretty clear. As always, feel free to see things differently.

Hey TROLLS fellow songwriters, Kay started her own site! Please go over there pay her a visit and leave me the fuuk alone send her my love and congratulations Worth a look.... Kay-Lynn I'm assuming that it is your website and that you set the rules. I have a few questions: Are you going to allow political discussion on your website? Are you going to allow religious discussion on your Website? Are you going to allow politically or religiously provocative songs on your website? If I post a song and someone makes, not only demeaning comments about the song, but me personally...ie...talentless hack etc...what will your posture be? These are sincere questions. I was thinking of looking at pay-sites where off topic and devisive disruptions were shut down because they threatened cash flow. However, If you are going to keep your site strictly about songwriting, and dont object to me joining...I'd give it a try. Let me know. Marty

Kay-Lynn I'm assuming that it is your website and that you set the rules. I have a few questions: Are you going to allow political discussion on your website? It's not a political forum so there would be no reason to do that. Are you going to allow religious discussion on your Website? It's not a religious forum so there would be no reason to do that. Are you going to allow politically or religiously provocative songs on your website? Songs are another matter, you can critique the song, but seems silly to critique the opinion. If I post a song and someone makes, not only demeaning comments about the song, but me personally...ie...talentless hack etc...what will your posture be? There will be no personal comments allowed on my site. I monitor it daily and it will not be tolerated. Period. It's not productive to anyone. These are sincere questions. I was thinking of looking at pay-sites where off topic and devisive disruptions were shut down because they threatened cash flow. This site is totally free, it only involves my labor. However, If you are going to keep your site strictly about songwriting, and dont object to me joining...I'd give it a try. You're more than welcome. Let me know. Marty

All looks good.
Problem is when someone makes a blatantly political statement in the form of a song, it is still a blatant and provocative statement in todays world. That's inescapable. I was assailed for objecting to an un-veiled political song on muse and told that my objections were "absurd." Which itself was absurd. Even one of their moderators stated in writing that they thought that the song had gone out of bounds vis-a-vis their off-topic rules.
Muse appears to be run by a bevy of non-us citizens who share a mutual hatred for Trump. Had I written a song titled..."Kamala, you lied so many times," the smart bet is that they would have taken my side of the arguments and used them against me, and banned me for violating their "off-topic" rules. The takeaway...Politics is destructive.
During the day I listen to MSNOW, pretty much exclusively in order to hear what sh+t that they are shoveling into the minds of the hard & fringe left.
At night I fall asleep listening to Bill Oreilly to hear what is aimed at the hard right.
At night I also listen to Tucker Carlson podcasts where he frequently interviews wacks from the alt-right who shovel sh+t into the minds of fringe conservatives and people too dumb to know how dumb they are. (Tony)
So when I sit down to write songs, I personally, don't want any of the propaganda world entering that head-space. I just want to enjoy the time spent. 99% of songs on the radio are about some form of bonding or un-bonding human relationship.
All of that aside, I think that you are well intentioned, and I'll give your site a try with a song idea that I have. I am living mostly in the Texas Hill Country now and there are song-circles that I plan to join in. Your site could be a nice place to work up personal writes before I sing them out loud in front of people.
I appreciate the invitation to join.
See you soon,
Marty

Well Marty, I listen to all those stations as well, I loved Charlie Kirk, Bill O'Reilly seems to be a straight shooter, the View is a sess pool (my opinion of course), I love watching debates, body language, etc. But none of that has anything to do with my songwriting. I'm not trying to change the world with a song like they did in the 60's, I'm just trying to make it a nicer place to live in, because music is all that really makes me happy.
I look forward to hearing more of your stuff on the site.
Kindest regards,
Kay-lynn

Tell me, why does America need to bomb Iran once again? Don't we have enough trouble right here? Don't we have more to learn before we spend billions to create the next worldwide economic crisis? Aren't there many on Earth who could truly benefit from such wasted expenditures? Well Ben, I saw a political statement and responded to it. Politics is interesting to me. I have advocated for excluding it from a songwriting site because it is destructive to harmony...even been banned for that...but now, with regard to this site...I see no reason to be concerned. So Ben, if the mood strikes me to engage a political argument here...why shouldn't I? Does that connect the dots for you? And...I will respond to what I see clearly as a naive and canned response from a personality that unquestionably accepts the propaganda that is shoved into his brain...but, at some later date. Now, why don't you ignore me and go back to equating Christianity with fairy tales here and talking about how the usual suspects are arguing again...as if you are not one. xoxo Marty

Whatever . Let me wander over to Nashville record a song I guess you pussies are afraid of studios and just push buttons You have a lovely day Ben, That response invites a moment of lucidity. You have railed against "the robots" ever since this site was introduced to UDIO and SUNO. You have railed that it steals work from your studio musicians. Ultimately that seems a hopeless and pointless POV to me...but I get how someone can hold that opinion. IMO and frankly, your original studio songs were gruff sounding (non-melodic) and up to a point in time, your lyrics were middling. But then in the space of a day or two, your lyrics went from middling to damn good and sometimes astoundingly good. In my mind, the only thing that explains it is you "pushing buttons." It seems apparent that you are railing against robots and buttons, yet simultaneously, deeply into using them to write your songs and lyrics. Can you elaborate on the seeming inconsistency? Many thanks, Marty
