That seems so bizarre to me. Unless one has a ton of record playing gear available (without having to go out and buy it) why would you pay outlandish prices for and old idea? True enough, it was fun to look at the album art, read to descriptions of all the tracks and information about the artists... but to me, the CD is still the most viable way to buy and play music.
We live in an ever changing world but this is one idea I'm not going to try. Like Michael, I'll still buy a used LP album of someone I revere or absolutely enjoy for $.50 cents at the local Goodwill or thrift store.
Anyone seeing much action on 45 records? ----Dave
