... A Company in Austria is going to re-introduce a new Reel to Reel Tape Recorder. Wow everything old is becoming new again! I remember reading all the tests on Audio Gear in Stereo Review Magazine. Still have my old Ampex Reel to Reel recorder. Need refurbished tho. Reel to Reel is coming back because a lot of folks want to record in pure analog audio and not digitally. So recording quality (or maybe the "sound" of audio recording) is what is being celebrated not the "retro" part. Most of the major studio still have and use analog recording equipment. The same can be said for analog recorded LP's. Folks swear that LP's have better fidelity over 16bit 44.1khz CD's (I don't know if I can tell the difference, though). I only do digital recording -- it is just so easy! Well the making good music part is tough ....

"If you are stuck in your musical composing, be unreasonable. Change your environment. If you are stuck in your lyrical efforts, instead of forcing the same old words out, force yourself to do unreasonable things." -Brian Austin Whitney
