John, Has there been a misunderstanding? Do you believe that I actually suggested you should take your 77y/o type 1 diabetic wife off insulin? Never gave it a second thought JAPOV - ha, ha. I will say Type 1 diabetes is easier to regulate than Type2. Especially using the pump (which she does). Type 1 diabetics can basically eat whatever they like (still have to think of basic nutrition though). Sandy just has to bolus in the number of carbs when she eats, then the pump will handle the rest. I love how the pump alerts her in the middle of the night when her blood sugar is too low or high - a life saver. Best, John  Will you please do me a favor, John... check in on Brian and make sure he's taking "HIS" medication?
