Marty, you are to my knowledge a smart, rational, capable individual who should be able to govern themselves even if others may not be.

You (and I ) and others simply need to extend one another more grace.
In political and religious conversation, the messenger is not the one to shoot.
I expect you and Tony could have a great discussion about your theological differences if you focused on discussing them instead of how awful or stupid or your favourite word the other person is for believing what they do
You know yourself that the first rule in any debate is that if you feel the need to attack the person debating then you have already lost
Have a beef with someone? Have a straight up conversation. If you need to apologize, do so.
