Kay-lynn, you can say whatever you want. Some people here see politics in almost every song. Marty says persons are political. If you write a love song about a person, you're writing a political song. This sucks. Thats a personal attack Ben, I don’t see that as a personal insult or attack. I didn’t call Marty any names or attack his character. I was expressing frustration about the way politics keeps getting brought into songwriting discussions and how some songs are interpreted through a political lens. “This sucks” was clearly directed at the situation, not at Marty as a person.
