Well thought out...
I don't disagree with any of that, except, the suno user is not doing what the true artists have done.
Name yout top 100 songs of all time. Guaranteed none of them are suno.
So is music better today simply because suno? No its not, not even close.
The sad part about it though, is that people who are not artists, are capable of generating something that sounds really great.
Real songwriters, real bands, real studio musicians have nothing to worry about.
You have to embrace tech, its been making false recordings forever.
Punch ins allow a singer to sing one word at a time, and have it sound like a live take.
Same for overdubs of any instrument.
Same for special effects and auto tune.
Alot of artists sound like [naughty word removed] live.
So its really about recorded tracks, not about music.
Average listener may not be able to tell if a song was generated by Ai, but
They are still going to gravitate towards music that moves them.
As of now, nobody's favorite song is an Ai song
